Stories

Careers changed. Numbers moved.

Two kinds of story: people who moved into tech sales, and teams that built a sales motion they could repeat. Same three questions each time — where they started, what we worked on, what changed.

SampleThese stories are illustrative examples, not verified alumni results. Real, named stories go up here as cohorts finish.

A
Sample story AOffer in week 6

Retail team leaderSDR, SaaS scale-up (sample)

Where they started
Three years managing a shop floor, plenty of selling instinct, a CV that read like retail admin and no idea which companies to target.
What we worked on
Rebuilt the CV around numbers, drilled the cold call every session, and ran four scored mock interviews before the real one.
"The mock cold call was harder than any interview I sat afterwards. That was exactly the point."
B
Sample story BOffer in week 9

Recent graduateBusiness Development Rep, cybersecurity (sample)

Where they started
Six months of applications, a handful of first-stage calls, no offers and no feedback on why.
What we worked on
Cut the target list from 'anything in tech' to twenty companies, rewrote the story, and practised objections until they stopped landing.
"I'd been applying for six months with nothing. One session on my story and the callbacks started."
C
Sample story COffer in week 7

Hospitality managerSDR, fintech (sample)

Where they started
Great on the phone, terrible at explaining why any of it mattered to a hiring manager in tech.
What we worked on
Translated hospitality experience into pipeline language, then drilled discovery until the questions came automatically.
"Four weeks in I had three final-stage interviews. The difference was someone telling me the truth about my calls."

Named stories replace these as each cohort finishes and everyone signs off on what gets published. Nothing here is presented as a verified result. More on where alumni land.
